Coming Soon! Gyro Booth Weekend!
ALL HANDS ON DECK! It’s that time of year again. This weekend, St. George Orthodox Church is hosting its semi-annual Gyro Booth down on the square.
Members of the St. George Church will be on hand all day to meet, greet, and serve you with a smile, offering the food and Christian friendship that have become a fixture in Prescott.
Advanced ordering for large orders are being taken. Contact St. George Church or a parish member for information or to place your order.
- Our peerless Gyro Sandwich will be on sale, as usual – fresh spiced lamb, tomatoes, onions and fresh tzaziki sauce in a warm, grilled flatbread make a one-of-a-kind treat, available only twice a year in Prescott!
- The Greek Iced Tea, now renown across the Southwest, will be available once again (get it while we have it). This freshly brewed concoction of tea, lemon and fresh mint is second-to-none among refreshments. Only available at the St. George Gyro Booth!
- Baklava, everyone’s favorite sweet honey confection, will also be available rounding out a perfectly indulgent luncheon. Don’t feel guilty – it all goes to a good cause.
- Our Charity Tip Jar will be out once again, listing all of the local, regional and international charities we contribute to, and all the proceeds of that jar go 100% to charity.
Look for this banner at the northeast corner of the Prescott Town Square.

The other weekend for the Gyro Booth is during the Labor Day weekend, so get your Gyro and Tea now!
